I was in a car accident in 1993, I suffered whiplash for about a year. Between 1995-1996 it cme back. I had severe pain on the right hand side of my neck and  suffered from pins and needles in my right arm. These pins and needles where so severe that i couldn't lift my arm and i didn't have any feeling in my thumb or little finger. I went to a doctor for treatment and the doctor sent me to a physio which didnt help at all. After about 18 months it went.

In 2002 i was at a Funfair and i got a jolt and it brought it all back. Again i went to the doctors and physio and it didn't help nor did taking any pain killers. I tried heat packs and ice packs but they didnt relieve any pain. It lasted for a year and a half. The pain went but i couldn't move my neck. My thumb and little finger stayed the same through out all of this.

It eased for the next 5 years but never completely went. It came back sverely i 2008. I couldn't move my neck at all. I went to my doctor and she recommended a sports therapist, I attended one for 6 sessions and he massaged my neck and back. The therapist said it was down to stress and i was full of knots. The physio or massaging didnt help at all.

My daughter recommended that i should try a Chiropractor and we found Dr Niall Tilly. I made an appointment in August 2009. I told him what had happened to me.He sent me for x-rays. The x-rays showed severe damage to my neck and to the back of my throat. I attended Dr Niall 3 times a week in the beginning. After a few sessions i noticed an improvement in my neck and with the pins and needles. After a while he changed my appointments to 2 times a week. I am improving with each visit so much that i have started to get a lot more flexibility in my neck and i also have full feeling in my thumb and little finger. I have noticed a big improvement in my back and left leg which i didnt realise was put of line until i went to Dr Niall.  I am now going to see him once every 2 weeks and feel great. It is 17 years since i have felt this good. If i would have known about Dr Niall Tilley a few years ago it would have speared me a lot of pain and a lot of money.

I would recommend anybody with my injuries to go and see a chiropractor.

I can't thank Dr Niall Tilley enough for all the help and care he has given me.

A big thank you.

I've been suffering with migraine & headaches for over 10 years and during this time I've tried everything - different tablets, acupuncture, Chinese tea, diets & food intolerance tests. My sister suggested trying a chiropractor.  I've been attending the Back to Health Chiropractor for a few months now and have noticed an improvement.  My headaches have greatly reduced and I have recently gone a month migraine free.  Finally, I found someone who is treating the root of my problem and not just controlling the pain!
I am quite happy with the level of care that I have received from Back to Health and I find the staff very friendly in my dealings with them.

'I am a 46 year old woman who has been doing sport all my life. In Feb/Mar 2009 my elbow and shoulder on my right arm was uncomfortably sore. I went to a medical doctor who diagnosed a tennis elbow and gave me a cortisone injection. The elbow was immediately better, but I knew we haven’t really found the source. I noticed that I was using my right hand less. By April it was very sore again and I went back to my GP. I got another cortisone injection and a referral to a physiotherapist. I went twice a week for 6 weeks to the physio and I stopped all my sport. I had the full range of treatments, but no real improvement. Eventually, in June/July, I couldn’t justify the cost anymore and gave it up. I accepted that my right arm will be “giving problems” going forward. By October I couldn’t lie on my right side in bed and I was waking up at night because of pain. You have no idea how sore pinched nerves can be! At that stage I didn’t know what it was. I was planning to go to an Orthopaedic surgeon, but the idea of surgery put me off.

My chemist recommended Dr. Niall Tilley, a chiropractor. After the first visit I slept a full night for the first time in a long time. He also sent me for X-rays (why did my GP or the physio not do that?). I had a sub-located shoulder which had an impact all the way down my arm. My neck also needed adjusting. I initially saw him 3 times per week and I had a relapse in the initial few weeks – accept that it happens. However, here I am, typing this email and as far as I’m concerned I have full use of my arm back. It is still sore and it still slips out, but we’re working on getting the muscles stronger to prevent that. I’m doing all my sport again.

So, not only did I get away without surgery, I also have a better result than I would have had with surgery. Go and give a chiropractor a chance, you won’t regret it.

I have been attending Dr. Niall Tilley's Back 2 Health Clinic for over two years now. Prior to my first visit, I was taking up to six strong pain killers a day for the pain in my back. I had been down the conventional root of doctors, physios etc. for years but none of these had ever got to the root of the problem.

For the first two weeks of my treatment I attended the clinic twice a week, then once a week for a month or so. I then began to attend once a month for a year and I'm currently attending once every two months and I don't require any pain killers whatsoever.

I have recommended Niall to others and they have also been very pleased with the results.

'I work with computers everyday and have suffered from migraines for years, since visiting back to health my migraines are no longer a problem. Not only have my migraines gone but I have now been educated about the effects of using a laptop everyday and why that can cause headaches and migraines.'
